I would like to take this opportunity to explain the recent dismissal of the battle master staff – what necessitated it, and the resulting effect on the community at large.

On Tuesday, March 2, we were informed that the head battle master, along with several of his assistants and supervisors, created a guild called FUSE. This action is contrary to staff rules, and calls for instant termination. Rather than terminate everyone, we disbanded the guild, warned the members, and moved on. At about the same time, the head battle master went to Blood regarding a complaint about an Admin abusing his GM powers. This situation was defused and should have ended right then. Twenty-four hours later, I was informed that the head battle master was aware of a video that had been uploaded to YouTube. This video was created by some of his staff, and it was disrespecting the server - and he had done nothing to either fix, or even manage, the issue. In my opinion, this was strike 3 for him. I terminated the head of a department which has access to the ability to add in-game cash and items. He was a longtime member of the community, and had many friends and contacts within his staff. Therefore, it was decided for the safety of the server, community and game play in general, that we needed to lock out all members of the BM staff to protect from any sort of problem.

I realize that many good people were hurt by this action who had nothing to do with the principal issues for the dismissals. I would like to say right now that I am sorry. You’re welcome to reapply to the NEW improved BM team, and you will be considered for that position. I need to stress as much as possible that this action was done to protect you – the community of Neverendless-Wow – and not to hurt anyone. The security of the server and community is my biggest and most important responsibility, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I am sorry if any of my actions affected anyone in an adverse or negative way.

Today we introduced the new head battle master, and several position changes within the structure of the staff, to the rest of the staff as well as a few other key people on the server. This will be announced to the community in a separate post so as to not diminish the importance of this one, and of course to announce the proud new promotions.
