Ventrilo Rules and Guidelines
The Ventrilo Server is intended for game use only and has many rules which will be enforced.

Global Channel Rules

• No cursing in global channels. You will be verbally warned. If you continue it is a kick. And if you further persist, it will result in a 5 day ban.
• No music in General chat. We have a music and karaoke channel if you wish to sing or play your music. You will be asked to switch channels either by kick or verbal warning. If you continue it is a 14 day ban.
• No mic spam. This is obnoxious and rude and will result in a 14 day ban.
• No inappropriate conversations. This is a PG rated server, no exceptions. You will receive a verbal/kick warning, then a 7 day ban.
• Advertising is not tolerated! This is a permanent ban that will carry to forums and in-game.
• No racism, direct or indirect. No nation is lesser than another, no race is lesser than another. If this is done, you will be banned for 14 days, consider this your warning.
• No voice changers. You will receive a kick warning, then a ban for 3 days if continued.
• No soundboards. You will be kicked first, then banned for 14 days if you continue.
• Staff disrespect, donor bashing, and server bashing is not tolerated. You will either receive a verbal warning or a kick warning. If you continue, you will be banned for 5 days.
• Relog spam is an instant, permanent ban.
• Using third-party programs to record is not tolerated. You will be warned with either a verbal warning or a kick warning. If you refuse to stop, you will be banned for 7 days.
• No inappropriate names. You will be kicked to change your name. If you refuse to change your name, you may and will be banned for 3 days.
• Don't avoid Mutes. Mutes last no more than 20 minutes. If you relog to avoid the mute or otherwise remove the mute from yourself, it will result in an 1 hour ban. Just wait out the mute.
• No talking over each other. Its rude and impolite. You will be verbally warned then muted.
• Do not abuse the complaint system. The Complaint System is meant for complaints about other players, not to get an Admin's attention. This can get you banned for 5 days.
• English only in general chat. If you wish to talk to your friends in another language feel free to use the rooms. You will be asked to move and if you refuse or jump back in general once moved, you'll be muted.
• Don't be obnoxious or harass players. If you display an enormous amount of immaturity to specifically annoy players, you will be verbally warned, then banned from Ventrilo for 5 days. Please show your fellow players respect while on our Ventrilo Server.
• Don't attempt to impersonate staff. This is a serious offense and will get you immediately banned permanently. To avoid being banned on accident, do not log in with GM/IS/Mod/CI/Admin/TM/etc. in any part of your name.
• Don't avoid bans. This will only get your ban doubled if not permanent. If you've been banned, put in a ban appeal. If your ban appeal is denied, then just wait the ban out. Ban appeals are checked everyday, all day.

Karaoke Channel Guidelines

• No interrupting another person when they're singing. You will be immediately muted. If you continue you will be banned from the channel for the night.
• No insulting another person's singing. Be courteous to others. If you fail to follow this rule you will be muted or in extreme cases, banned from the channel for the night.
• No extremely vulgar or crude songs. The Karaoke Channel is meant to be fun and friendly for all ages. If you break this rule, you will be verbal warned and/or muted. If you continue you may be banned from the channel for the night or in extreme cases, banned from vent for 3 days.

Music Channel Guidelines

• The Music Channel is for Music. If you are in the music channel not playing/listening to music, you will be asked to move. Its not a hangout, that's what the other rooms are for.
• Do not play music while another has music playing. If you are caught doing this you will muted. If you continue you will be banned from the ventrilo server for 3 days. This is considered spam and is not looked upon kindly.
• No vulgar or crude music. This is still a PG rated server, if you are caught playing music that is vulgar you will be banned from the channel for 1 day. If you are caught again, you will be banned from the ventrilo server for 3 days.
• If someone is playing music in the channel that you find offensive, is blaring loud, or is a soundboard/spam/etc. feel free to use the Complaint System or speak to a Moderator.

Verbal Warnings are not mandatory, however Kick Warnings for certain offenses are.
All punishments are subject to change according to the severity of the offense.
All these rules are subject to change with or without warning.
